On October 17, 2025, the Center for School Leadership launched the second cohort of the Compulsory Training Program for Preschool Education, aimed at further developing the professional capacities of preschool principals and teachers in this field.

This year, the program brings together 80 directors and teachers from 31 municipalities across the country. Of these, 43 are currently serving as preschool principals, while 37 are teachers aspiring to take on leadership roles.

The program has a duration of 20 weeks, comprising a total of 310 hours of theory and practice, and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission with 210 credits, ranking it among the most comprehensive professional development programs in the field of preschool leadership in Albania.

Following the successful certification of the first cohort with 64 participants, the program has been expanded this year to 80 new participants, organized into three training groups. This expansion aims to provide more preschool professionals with structured opportunities for professional growth and to support the enhancement of leadership practices in the sector.

The program is implemented with the support of a group of preschool education experts, who provide professional guidance throughout the teaching, practice, and assessment processes.

The Center for School Leadership remains committed to consolidating this program as a reference model for the professional development of preschool principals and to strengthening quality standards in early childhood education across the country.
