Short description


The focus of this module will be the vision and how it can be developed for the main transformation of the educational institution. Also, the role of transformational leadership in this process will be discussed. In the center of attention will be the analysis in the auditorium of issues related to the transformational leadership of an educational institution, reflected in the vision, goals, mission, motto, assessment, ongoing changes in legislation and collaborations at all levels for the development of the vision to achieve the goals with quality activities, evaluation, self-evaluation of students, staff, principals, and the school. At the end of the training, the participants are expected to acquire the appropriate competencies, to be able to lead the institution and recognize themselves in the role of a transformational leader, to implement and self-evaluate their work efficiently

  • Aspiring managers (middle managers);
  • New principals (up to three years of experience);
  • Principals with high experience (those with more than 5 years of experience).


Expected results


At the end of this training, the participants will be able to:


  • know the meaning of the vision, the annual analysis, the SWOT analysis, the national strategies of Pre-University Education and their role in the drafting of the vision; understand the importance of knowing the curricula, the renewed legislation;
  • learn the steps that are followed for the drafting of the annual planning, the development of the vision in the optics of the school’s strategies;
  • know the concept of leadership, types, transformational leadership, as well as the meaning of the content and changes of the Legislation, in the context of the 2014-2020 reform;
  • know themselves as a leader, their strengths and weaknesses, find themselves compatible or not with the characteristics of transformational leadership, or of any other leader;
