Short description
The module “Developing skills for my subject – Mathematics” describes mathematics as one of the seven areas of the pre-university education curriculum, which contains only the subject of mathematics as a fundamental part of pre-university education. It is taught in all years of this schooling. Through learning mathematics, the student will gain knowledge about numbers, figures, space, measures, how to use data, etc. He/she will be able to understand the role of mathematical thinking for the development of modern science and technology, as well as the importance of applying mathematics to real-life problem-solving situations.
