The Center for School Leadership announces the second call for applications for the compulsory training program for certification on preschool institution leadership, open to current preschool education directors as well as teachers aspiring to become directors in preschool education institutions.

This call is open to current directors in preschool education institutions and teachers who are currently employed or have previously worked in both public and private institutions.

Before preparing their application documents, interested candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for selection.

Eligibility Criteria for Current Directors and Aspiring Candidates:

• A bachelor’s degree in preschool education.
• A minimum of three years of teaching experience in preschool education.
• No active disciplinary measures at the time of application.

Application Process for the Training Program

The required documents and application procedure are outlined below. Candidate data will be collected in compliance with Law No. 9887, dated 10.03.2008, “On the Protection of Personal Data,” as amended.

Required Documents for Application:

• Curriculum Vitae (CV) in Europass format.
• A copy of a valid identification document.
• Proof of payment for the application fee (1,000 ALL), deposited into the Center for School Leadership’s bank account.
• Official confirmation of no active disciplinary measures, issued by the employer.
• Recommendation letter from the institution’s director. If the applicant is not currently employed, the recommendation must be obtained from their most recent educational employer.
• Proof of leadership experience.
• Motivation letter.
• Certificates of training in early childhood education and preschool education.
• Self-declaration form confirming that the applicant has no criminal record.
• Copies of university diplomas and transcripts.
• Copy of employment record book.
• Copy of professional qualification category certificate.

Note: Notarization of documents is not required; simple copies are sufficient.

Application Deadline and Evaluation Process:

Applications will be accepted from March 3 – April 3, 2025

All applications will be reviewed by the Candidate Evaluation Committee, following the categories and scoring system outlined in the “Regulation on Professional Development and Qualification of Directors of Preschool Education Institutions in Albania.”

Candidates who successfully pass the selection process and are admitted to the training program will be informed by the Center for School Leadership about their assigned cohort and training schedule.

Training Format and Certification:

The training is conducted part-time, without interruption from work. Upon completion of the training program, participants must pass an assessment to obtain the official certification for preschool education institution directors.

If a current director loses their position between the time of application and registration in the compulsory training program for certification on preschool institution leadership, they will still have the right to continue the program as an aspiring director (teacher).
