On 1 July 2026, the Center for School Leadership organized the Certification Ceremony of the Second Cohort of the Compulsory Training Program for preschool institutions, marking the successful completion of another important cycle of professional development in this sector.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education, Ms. Mirela Kumbaro, the Acting Mayor of Tirana Municipality, Ms. Anuela Ristani, representative of the Ministry of Education, members of the Board of CSL, the team of trainers, and institutional partners.
The program, implemented during the period 17 October 2025 – 4 April 2026, was successfully completed by 74 principals and aspiring principals of preschool institutions from across Albania. Throughout the program, participants developed 54 practical projects within their respective institutions, addressing concrete needs and contributing to the improvement of leadership practices, institutional management, community collaboration, and the overall quality of the educational process.
The ceremony served not only as a moment to recognize the commitment and achievements of the participants, but also as an opportunity to highlight the importance of investing in the professional development of preschool education leaders. The experiences gained and the projects implemented during the program demonstrate that strengthening leadership capacities has a direct impact on creating higher-quality, more inclusive, and more supportive environments for children’s development.
The growing interest in the Compulsory Training Program and the results achieved by the second cohort reaffirm the importance of this investment in developing a professional and sustainable leadership culture in preschool education. The certification of this cohort represents another step toward consolidating a new leadership culture, where continuous professional development, reflective practice, and ongoing improvement are essential elements for enhancing the quality of educational services provided to children.
