96 Participants from the First Cohort of the National Network of Pre-University Education Institutions Evaluators Certified
As part of the project “Establishment of the National Network of Pre-University Education Institutions Evaluators,” implemented by the Agency for the Assurance of Pre-University Education Quality (ASCAP) with the support of the Center for School Leadership and funding from the Albanian American Development Foundation (AADF), a Certification Ceremony was held today, on May 6, 2022, at the “Servete Maci” School in Tirana.
The National Network of Pre-University Education Institutions Evaluators aims to create a sustainable training program, which will enable the formation of a national network of 400 external evaluators for pre-university education institutions. This network will include evaluation specialists from the Regional Directorates of Pre-University Education (DRAP) and Local Education Offices (ZVAP) throughout Albania, as well as school leaders certified by the Compulsory Training Program, organized by the Center for School Leadership.
In her speech, Mrs. Evis Kushi, the Minister of Education and Sports, emphasized the importance of periodic internal and external evaluations of pre-university educational institutions as an essential step toward enhancing the quality of schools in all aspects.
The first cohort of 96 participants were certified during the ceremony. These participants are evaluation specialists from responsible evaluative institutions and school leaders certified by the Center for School Leadership. The participants of this first cohort followed a 170-hour training program between January and March 2022, with participants from the ZVAPs in Durrës, Lezhë, Tirana, Rrogozhinë, Peqin, Kavajë, Vorë, Shijak, Kurbin, and Mirditë.
