On November 4, 2022, the Center for School Leadership (CSL) began the Fifth Cohort of the Compulsory Training Program (CTP) for principals of pre-university education institutions, with approximately 290 participants from 43 Local Education Offices across Albania.

This marks a fivefold increase in the number of participants compared to the first cohort.

The launch event of the Fifth Cohort was attended by the Minister of Education and Sports, Ms. Evis Kushi, the co-directors of the Albanian American Development Foundation, Mr. Mata and Mr. Sarapuli, partner universities, trainers delivering the program, collaborators, and CSL alumni.

In this cohort, the Compulsory Training Program (CTP) will be offered, for the first time, in the cities of Shkodër and Korçë, through collaboration with “Luigj Gurakuqi” University in Shkodër and “Fan Noli” University in Korçë.

The expansion of the CSL’s Compulsory Training Program (CTP) is not only geographical but also involves improvements in the structure and management aspects of the program.

Ms. Kushi emphasized that the large number of applications, particularly from teachers and experienced principals, indicates that the new approach of this program is successfully balancing both quality and quantity in a short period.

Along with the launch of the Fifth Cohort, the Center for School Leadership (CSL) has introduced the Digital Library, a new tool and valuable resource for both participants and trainers.
