On May 25, 2023, the Center for School Leadership organized the Launch Ceremony of the Mandatory Preparatory Training Program for Vocational Education and Training (VET).

The ceremony was attended by Ms. Evis Kushi, Minister of Education and Sports; Mr. Michael D. Granoff, Chairman of the Board of the Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF); Mr. Aleksandër Sarapuli and Mr. Martin Mata, Co-Executive Directors of AADF; Mr. Jan van Montfort, Country Director for SwissContact in Albania; as well as partners, donors, university rectors, group leaders and trainers, and key collaborators of the Center for School Leadership.

The Vocational Education and Training Program represents a significant achievement for the Center for School Leadership, extending the excellence of its curriculum and contributing substantially to the development of free professions in support of economic growth. This program was designed to meet the specific needs of this target group thanks to our collaboration with “Skills for Jobs” (Skills4Jobs), a project funded by the Swiss Government.

We also introduced a new initiative by awarding prizes for the most outstanding projects led by principals who have brought innovation to their schools through creativity and dedication.
