Eurona Leka

Eurona Leka, graduated in International Relations with Summa Cum Laude, at the University of La Sapienza, Rome, Italy. She has a master degree in Conflict Management and Peacekeeping Missions from the State University of Turin in Italy with honors. She also has a second bachelor degree in Albanian Language.

She has been actively involved in research projects and has a diverse experience in managing, writing and implementing various research, education and innovation projects at the international and national level.

She has 12 years of teaching experience as a lecturer at Barleti University. She is author and co-author of several publications in scientific journals as well as participant in national and international conferences, trainings and workshops. She focuses her studies in the fields of international affairs, human rights and political studies. Mrs. Leka has been a member of the working group for the elaboration of the Human Security Strategy and is a full member of Alb-Science and the Institute of Sociology.

Mrs. Leka has 5 years of experience as an expert in the Admission Commissions in the Civil Service, at the Department of Public Administration. She has also worked as an Expert of the Advisory Board of the Albanian Diaspora Periodic at the Albanian Diaspora Development Fund. For 2 years she has been the Executive Director of the Albanian Institute for Public Affairs and for about 3 years she has served as a consultant to international organizations such as UNDP, WFP and OSCE.
